We are a group of four, all singers, who play guitar, violin, mandolin and (occasionally) drum. We are amateurs and as such we charge only for expenses.
In 2015 we will be playing in London at the British Museum (March) and the Army and Navy Club (June).
In March we will also be at the Walronds Centre in Cullompton, Devon, and King’s College Taunton. In May we will be playing at the Waterloo Dinner of the Royal Logistics Corps, Grantham.
Engagements for June will include the Wordsworth War & Waterloo event at Dove Cottage, Grasmere, and an appearance at Walmer Castle during the New Waterloo Dispatch celebrations.
In July we will provide music at the Warwick University conference to mark the conclusion of their online project on the Hundred Days, having played at their inaugural event in 2014.
We would be delighted to hear from any schools, colleges, historical associations, regiments or other organisations planning events to mark the bicentenary of Waterloo.
We can provide a musical programme lasting from 30 minutes to an hour, or a talk with music on a range of Waterloo-related topics: more of a gig than a lecture!
